bColchesterUnitedCommunityFoundationseeksaCommunityYouthWorker/btodelivermentoringsessions,createcontent,andsupporthealthandinclusionprograms.Keyresponsibilitiesincludedevelopingmentoringresources,buildingrelationshipswithstudents,deliveringworkshops,andcollaboratingwithschoolsandpartners.Thesuccessfulcandidatewillprovidecrucialsupporttostudentsfacingchallengesandinspireandmotivatepeopleinthecommunity.TheroleisbasedinTheShrubEndCommunity&SportsCentre,Colchester,andrequiresastrongworkethic,highstandards,andflexibility.Theidealcandidatewillhaveayouthwork,mentoring,orsimilarqualification,experienceineducationorcommunitysettings,andstrongcommunicationskills.Additionaldesirablequalificationsincludeexperienceworkingwithyoungpeopleinareasofhighdeprivation,NGBCoachingQualification,andrelevantexperienceinsafeguardingchildren.Theroleadherestosafeguardingpolicies,equality,diversity,andinclusionprinciples,andoffersemployeebenefitssuchasfreestaffparking,apensionscheme,andopportunitiesforovertimeandtraining.Thisisaflexible,sessionalrole(0-hourcontract)withafocusonprovidinghigh-qualitysupportandservicestothecommunity.
