Job Description Director, Infrastructure, Paris Reporting to the Vice-President, Infrastructure - Europe, the incumbent's role is to contribute to achieving business objectives and to the strong growth of the portfolio by conducting quality infrastructure transactions that align with the identified risk-return criteria. What you will do Transactions: Rigorously select files that will undergo a preliminary analysis. Produce thorough and quality analyses aligned with selected sector investment criteria, including supervising complex financial modelling. Demonstrate leadership in the investment files. Coordinate and execute, with analysts from the team, the structure of the transaction and its negotiation, including financing, when required. Conduct due diligence reviews independently, thoroughly and completely, by using appropriate internal and/or external resources. Prepare and recommend complex files to investment committees and other decision-making bodies at la Caisse. Asset valuation/management: Rigorously monitor files and act as an appointed corporate director on Boards of Directors of investments under your responsibility. Identify and generate new opportunities to create value in investments monitored. Develop privileged business relationships with business leaders and various financial and industrial partners of investments monitored. Evaluate, recommend and implement holding strategies for interests in the portfolio. Take part in updating the dashboard for each investment under your responsibility to ensure proactive monitoring of the company's activities, investment risk profile and its fair value. Present a quarterly review of files under management for the overall team. Strategy: Rigorously analyze the sector's issues and priorities. Propose investment themes. Actively participate in developing strategic alliances through business development. Represent and position CDPQ in the market. General: Act as a resource person for analysts. Regularly share your experiences and knowledge with the team to continuously improve the quality of investment management and transactions completed. Contribute to improving the group's performance by promoting collaboration and teamwork. Help prepare internal reports following established timelines and applicable policies. Work on a cross-functional basis with other teams at la Caisse (Legal, Risk Management, Growth Markets, etc.). Who you are Rigour Ability to analyze and summarize Creativity Strategic vision Initiative Collaboration Diplomacy Team player and strong interpersonal skills What you bring At least ten (10) years of relevant experience in investment management in the infrastructure, the candidate should be able to demonstrate a list of files monitored and completed transactions in infrastructure. Graduate degree in business administration, engineering, or any related/relevant discipline. Recognized experience in the international market is an asset. Extensive knowledge of infrastructure, energy or other relevant sectors, ideally in Europe. Fluency in French and English desirable, both spoken and written. #J-18808-Ljbffr
