Job Role: Technical Sales Engineer Location: Leicester Shift: Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 / Friday 07:30 - 12:30 Salary: £35k - £45k Benefits: (21.5 Days holiday + Bank holidays + Birthday leave / Annual performance related bonus scheme/ Willing to support & sponsor training /Opportunity for promotion and progression /Company pension scheme / On-site parking /Long service award /Company events/Charitable events/Regular social nights out) The Company: My client who manufactures high integrity, ferrous and non-ferrous, precision parts for various industries are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join there team Job Role Responsibilities: To support the Sales and Marketing team and develop & maintain close relationships with new and existing customers. To prepare accurate and comprehensive quotes for customers and projects. Assessing feasibility of new enquiries, and estimate the costs associated with new jobs. Prepare accurate and comprehensive quotations from customer enquiries. Demonstrate practical experience in sourcing parts and materials and gain quotations from suppliers, e.g., toolmakers and machinists. Follow up quotations and obtain feedback. Follow up new leads Skilfully interpret technical drawings and understand Bill of Materials. Undertake visits to new and existing customers (worldwide). Attend exhibitions and conferences (in the UK & abroad) to promote the brand portfolio. Provide technical advice & support. The Candidate: At least 3 years' experience of working in a technical sales role. Technical Engineering qualification to HND level desirable Previous experience in preparing quotes, including buying parts and materials. Ability to interpret technical drawings and understand BOM's. Experience using a CRM system desirable. Strong networking skills. Full driving licence required.
