Mechanical Repairs Technician

Work Hours: Total Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:15 pm Friday: 7:30 am - 11:30 amKey Responsibilities: Perform disassembly, assembly, testing, and fault diagnosis of electrical, pump, and mechanical units. Enhance turnaround times for critical civil and military contract units through efficient practices. Adhere strictly to safe working practices and site regulations. Collaborate with engineers and team members to improve quality, reduce costs, and meet delivery targets. Demonstrate teamwork, autonomy, and adaptability to changing demands.Requirements: Prior experience in the aerospace sector or a similar industry. Proficiency in interpreting SPC data collection and recording results. Ability to interpret engineering drawings. Hands-on experience in machining. BTEC Level 2/3 in an engineering discipline, or equivalent experience in a similar environment. City and Guilds/National Certificate in an engineering discipline is advantageous.
