As a leader who helped shape the industry, Draganfly’s focus is on the sale of drone products and services, contract engineering and custom integration product development.  About the Role:   Draganfly is searching for an HR Business Partner to elevate the employee experience and align our HR initiatives with business objectives to drive results. The HR Business Partner will be the hub for all things people and culture and thrives on managing competing priorities while maintaining a positive and rewarding work environment.   This role reports directly to the Chief Legal and Corporate Services Officer and will be a key point of contact for the leadership team. The HR Business Partner is instrumental in developing a high-performance culture and world class experience for all employees. The successful candidate will connect people to purpose by aligning employee performance to business objectives and enhancing performance through employee development.   Your Responsibilities:   Develop people strategies and design approaches for evaluating gaps and enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction. Build people programs that align with business needs and the organizations strategic plan. Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution. Administrate day-to-day HR functions such as HRIS inputs, bi-weekly payroll and documentation to support with various stages of the employee lifecycle. Stay on top of off-cycle payroll payments; Provide timely information and/or education for all levels of the company on HR issues. Educate, coach, and partner with leaders on performance management and employee development goal Maintain adherence to company policies, industry standards, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations, ensuring all work processes meet legal and organizational requirements. Facilitate learning and development programs for employees of various levels as required to achieve continuous improvement objectives. Provide HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, compensation, and organizational development. Promote a culture of employee engagement, focusing on diversity and inclusion to ensure a healthy workplace where all team members consistently experience a sense of belonging. Help build a culture of trust by fostering effective communication between functional & geographically diverse departments Plan and execute seasonal events - considering budgets, vendor management, event objectives, supplies & swag orders, and more. Continuously evaluate and identify innovative ways to streamline and enhance service delivery to maximize the employee experience. Qualifications:   Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a relevant field . Knowledge of Employment Standards Legislation and safe workplace best practices in various provinces and states. Experience dealing with workplace compensation issues; Previous experience in using and administering HRIS. Bonus points if you have experience using Humi! Outstanding verbal and written communication skills . Previous experience using MS Office applications. Located in Burnaby or Saskatoon Ability to travel within North America to attend events, visit work sites and other business needs as required up to six times per year Competencies:   People Person – You provide personalized and proactive support to both customers and your team. Persistent – You stick with the problem and get it solved! What is in it for you? Competitive base salary. The range is $80,000 - $120,000.
