Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Maxwell Consultancy are working with a manufacturing business in Ayrshire in their search for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias). This is an excellent opportunity to join the maintenance team on a full - time permanent basis. Working a continental shift pattern, the business prides themselves on customer satisfaction. What's required? * Minimum 3 years working as Maintenance engineer * Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject * Electrical and Mechanical experience * Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance * PLC fault finding * Background working in a fast paced manufacturing environment beneficial * Diagnose faults and rectify these issues where possible * Working knowledge of conveyors, pumps, gearboxes & motors * Conduct root cause analysis for machinery failures * Work closely with the production team to minimize downtime and optimize production output * Liaise with contractors on site to ensure that all equipment is serviced and repaired in a timely and efficient manner. * Working experience in a COMAH site advantageous Apply now for an immediate start
