We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Tax Manager or Principal , working out of any of our local offices – Sudbury, Timmins, or North Bay.
Your primary responsibilities will include: Working closely with partners, managers, or other senior staff on business tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory engagements.
Delivering high-quality tax planning, services, and advice.
Providing support, coaching, and professional development to firm staff with respect to tax knowledge and tax matters on an ongoing basis.
Identifying and cultivating new sales/service opportunities for clients.
Preparing and presenting technical sessions to firm staff.
A successful candidate will have: A minimum of 10 years of public accounting experience with a tax specialty.
Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA).
Successful completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or Masters of Tax Program.
Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, project management, and organizational skills.
Strong leadership skills and ability to coach and develop team members.
High proficiency in MS Office, Caseware/Casview, TaxPrep, and tax research software.
Proven project management and time management skills to organize, implement, and execute projects.
Strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.
