All differences are appreciated and respected at Nexans. As a result, you will be an active part of a multinational organization where we cultivate the culture of sharing your unique point of view. This is why we encourage diversity in our recruitment - Bring yours to Nexans, it is welcome!
Context
Nexans has a unique Business Performance Model, making it possible to measure and optimize three dimensions – Economic, Environmental and Engagement – in our operations and decision-making process. However, E3 is more than an operating model and indicator dashboard – it is a school of thought, a mindset and a keystone of corporate culture.
Nexans has been successful in deploying the E3 operating model, but still needs to do more to integrate it into our culture, to switch from “the head” to the “heart” at the most operational levels of the organization.
At group, level a dedicated task force has been implemented reporting directly to the CEO, involving key domains which have an impact on E3 : Communication, Branding, Sustainability, Learning and Talent Mgt. This task force has the objective to define and drive a transformation plan across the company with tangible actions and results. It meets on a weekly base to strongly monitor the deliverables.
To do so, and as part of this team, we seek a 6-month experienced PMO who can work with local teams on a defined set of initiatives, bringing about real impact, and creating repeatable models that anchor E3 as a culture, and not just an indicator dashboard.
Profile
You have at least 5/7 years’ experience driving change, transformation, and cultural initiatives in industrial settings.
You have a rigorous approach to project management and are able to communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization, (from top mgt to blue collars)
You demonstrate a natural conviction for sustainable business and people’s wellbeing and you are convinced by the holistic link between Economics, Engagement and Environment. You have experience designing, producing and deploying various communication tools and formats including video, image and written.
You are fluent in both English and French.
Responsibilities
The PMO is dedicated to driving a transformative culture across the organization by coordinating strategic initiatives that integrate the 3 dimensions of the E3 culture. The PMO’s mission is to empower respective audiences to align their projects with the company’s commitment. Through robust governance, transparency, and continuous improvement, the PMO will ensure that every project not only meets philosophical objectives, but also contributes to scale and leverage existing initiatives for our Nexans community.
The task force mentioned above is committed to launch the following transformation drivers :
“Connectors”
We have decided to identify through a selection process volunteers from Nexans who want to promote the model as change agents.
You will be responsible for the , implementation and animation of a global network of ‘Connectors’ – operational ambassadors of our E3 culture, and provide support to identify additional connectors upon deployment progress.
You will fuel them with the necessary communication material in collaboration with the Com network of Nexans.
Working collaboratively, you will define the governance of this community, its routines, and provide clear guidance and support for the role of these Connectors in the deployment of the overall plan.
You will support and coach these Connectors, and working with the Global Steering Committee (HR, Communications, Brand, CSR, Finance), remove obstacles and ensure success in their mission.
Site /Region Initiatives
E3 must go ‘beyond the factory walls”. As such, Nexans will strengthen how our factories engage with local communities and regions.
You will support local team to identify and define the goals and objectives of local initiatives (in the areas of sports, ecology, culture, health), ensure organizational alignment (including budgetary) and support the operational role out of defined local initiatives.
Site Level Brand & Communications / Nudge
We are partnering with a specialized agency to implement the 'Nudge' approach—an evidence-based, designed to influence positive actions and collaborative decision-making. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to define how this technique can be tailored to the Nexans environment, especially at the site level, ensuring it aligns with the company's cultural and operational goals. This will involve co-creating agile experiments across different regions, allowing us to test, learn, and adapt the approach iteratively.
Beyond communications, Nudge will play a critical role in Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives and HR supporting the behavioral shifts needed to embed E3 into daily practices. Moreover, it can reinforce cultural alignment, driving engagement and participation in sustainability efforts.
You will oversee the deployment of this initiative, providing a framework that can be scaled globally, nourishing not just communications but also talent development, leadership training, and operational efficiency at all levels. The goal is to embed Nudge principles into everyday work, ensuring E3 is lived throughout the organization, fostering a cohesive and action-driven culture across Nexans.
Executive Journey
E3 as a culture also requires our connected teams to open their minds to new ideas and perspectives. In this role, you will be responsible for producing a bespoke video series with external thought leaders to drive curiosity and conversation within Nexans around E3.
Drawing inspiration from new training methodologies, you will work with the Learning Solutions team to develop a training path for executives and to organize operationally the 1 cohort implemented next year.
OUR GROWTH CULTURE
Among our employees we share the same values- we are pioneers of the energy transition, dedicated to deliver to the highest standards of performance, united to achieve our ambitious goal.
At the individual level our growth culture is built on trust and collaboration. We wish to welcome you as a valuable member of our team. To enable impact we believe in autonomy at the local level at the same time as we encourage knowledge sharing within our global engineering competence.
REFERRAL REQUEST
In case this is not the job for you, but perhaps you have a friend who would be a great match - please forward the job to them, thanks!
