Delivery Driver - Luton Box Van Standard Driving License required £12 - £13.50 per hour Overtime paid at time and a half Our client is a market-leading joinery specialist who creates bespoke cabinetry, furniture and premium bespoke kitchens. They have an excellent opportunity for a Delivery Driver to join their growing production team. They manufacture everything in-house at their workshops. This role will be based in Amersham. The Delivery Driver role will involve direct customer interaction, and good spoken English is essential as you will be a key representative of the company. We are seeking a candidate with a positive, 'can do' attitude and who is eager to learn new skills. Key tasks Ability and proven experience in driving a Luton Box van in the UK, especially in Central London Customer facing experience is essential as you will be a key representative of the company Experience with daily vehicle checks Assisting the team in wrapping and packing goods ready for delivery A good attention to detail for Quality Control when packing goods Organising the loading and unloading of the van Assisting Installation Manager on site where necessary Requirements Full drivers licence with 7+ years driving experience Proven experience driving Luton box van Own transport to get to work Eligible to work in UK Physically active with a ‘can do’ attitude Well-presented and enjoy being a customer facing team member Good spoken English - confident in communicating with customers, suppliers and colleagues Good timekeeping and dedicated to completing the work on time Flexible with working day hours – necessary for earlier starts and late finishes when required Schedule 40 hour week - Monday to Friday - 7.30am starts Overtime paid at time and a half Candidates with experience as a Removal driver, Furniture Delivery Driver, Delivery Driver, Courier Driver, Transport Assistant, Light Goods Vehicle (LGV) Driver, Multidrop Driver, or in roles such as Customer Delivery Driver, Parcel Delivery Driver, or Distribution Driver are encouraged to apply
