Job Title: Strategic Lead for Inclusion and Alternative Provision Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week, flexible) Location: Greater Manchester, Hybrid working Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people? Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Fair Access Team and Alternative Provision, ensuring every child gets the education they deserve. Drive inclusive practices across schools, supporting students at risk of suspension or exclusion. Collaborate with schools, SEN services, social care, and health to create a holistic support system. Oversee the commissioning of quality alternative provisions and support schools in delivering top-notch education for all pupils. Monitor and improve outcomes for students using alternative provision, ensuring their education and wellbeing remain a top priority.What We're Looking For: Expertise in the SEND Code of Practice, Alternative Provision and Area SEND Inspection Framework A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of inclusive education and alternative provision. Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and driving high performance. A collaborative mindset, capable of working with schools, local authorities, and external partners.
