What you’ll doImplementing, troubleshooting, and integrating complex software functionalities in C/C++ code, in a multicore target environmentApplying knowledge of real-time software development and wireless communication protocols (4G/5G NR)Designing, coding, and testing solutions in a timely mannerDocumenting system analysis, software designs, and test plansFollowing an Agile product development process, working collaboratively in cross-functional teamsResponsible for continuously keeping your competence and skills up to dateWhat you'll need to get the job doneMinimum 5 years experience in a related field, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or Computer ScienceC programming experience is a mustGood 3GPP radio access standardization knowledge, including radio access algorithms, radio access protocols.Experience with developing/systemizing/testing software for 5G L1/L2 protocols.Good knowledge of test methodology, test tools and simulators on system as well as node level. Some test cases and scenarios are automated, so good/excellent knowledge in Java, Perl, XML, Python languages and frameworks is a must.Good understanding of Linux and able to use DPDK and Smart Network Interface cards to optimize the data processing path.Understand concepts like Docker containers, Kubernetes deployment, Helm charts and canary deployment.Experience of Cloud-Native Development Pipeline principles and tools – CI/CD (DevOps), Jenkins, Spinnaker is an asset.Good knowledge in Git, Gerrit and Jira.Be able to work with SW design, SW implementation and SW verification/integration.Knowledge about agile and lean ways of working.What will make us REALLY love youSelf-driven and proactive approach.Good documentation skills.Strong troubleshooting skills in a large-scale systemOutstanding problem-solving ability, including debugging/analytical skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to produce clear documentation for both colleagues and customers- What you’ll love about us: At Syntronic, our employees are our greatest asset.
