Health Safety & Environmental Manager

Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional with 5+ years experience? Do you want to work within a clean manufacturing environment for a global business? Would you like to be part of a company making a difference? This role will be the lead and sole HSE representative within a 180ppl company reporting into the director with support from all departments. Systems are well set up and the business is growing with many different product lines and 3 excellent modern facilities in the Northwest. Essential criteria Nebosh qualified (ideally Diploma) 5 years in a HSE role Manufacturing environment experience (not as a consultant but in house) In depth knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures. Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials and practices. Experience in establishing/auditing E.H&S policies and programs. Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics. It is vital in this role that this person can foster a good health and safety culture and build relationships through persuasive and friendly demeanour. Sector - Life sciences and medical devices (not essential but beneficial, manufacturing experience is essential however).
