Job Title: Safety, Health, Environment and Fire Manager
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Car Allowance/ Car
About the Role:
The Safety, Health, Environment and Fire (SHEF) Manager will provide guidance and solutions to support operations in ensuring work activities are conducted in a safe manner, complying with current regulations and adhering to Safety Operating Procedures (SOP) held within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective safety policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with operations teams to provide guidance and support in maintaining a safe working environment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry partners.
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a safety management role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
