Director, Retail Sales at Masco Canada (Hybrid role based in Mississauga or St. Thomas, ON office)Join us in building the future! As the Director of Retail Sales at Masco Canada, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing business strategies across our retail channels. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can shape plans that drive profitability, revenue, and market share growth, while building high-performance teams.You will lead the development of comprehensive, cross-functional business plans that align with Masco Canada’s core values and leadership principles. Your focus will be on guiding and nurturing a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and customer-centricity.What You’ll Bring:Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.8-10 years of sales experience; experience in category management, customer service, finance, or supply chain is valuable.Knowledge of plumbing products and competitors is preferable.Bilingual in French/English is an asset.Proven success in leadership, including coaching and mentoring, developing high performers, and potential successors.Digital fluency with experience in applying customer and consumer insights.Ability to lead effectively through ambiguity and complexity.Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach and anticipation of hidden issues.Effective presentation skills for various settings and audiences.Strategic agility with the ability to create competitive and breakthrough strategies.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong customer focus with dedication to meeting and exceeding customer expectations and building effective relationships.What You’ll Do:Strategic Leadership: Lead the formulation and execution of forward-looking strategies to ensure Masco Canada’s competitive edge, aligning with evolving market trends and dynamics.Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customer leaders to identify growth opportunities, resolve issues, and drive long-term business planning.Business Development: Develop and implement detailed customer plans that align brand objectives with account goals to achieve business targets. Utilize a data-driven approach for business development and problem-solving.Internal Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams, employing a multi-functional approach to achieve business objectives and enhance service delivery.Talent Development: Lead and inspire your team, promoting engagement and high performance. Model exemplary leadership behaviors, including building great teams & organizations, creating winning strategies, executing with urgency, and getting outside of your comfort zone.Operational Excellence: Ensure top-tier service levels and executional excellence. Oversee inventory planning, manage fill-rate performance, and minimize inventory liability through effective forecasting.Pricing and Budgeting: Develop and implement pricing strategies that reflect all strategic distribution channels.
