Global Leading Engineering Manufacturing Company Purchasing Manager - Strategic Procurement Division We are excited to announce an opportunity with a leading global manufacturing company who are looking for a Purchasing Manager to join their Strategic Procurement Division. This role is based in the West Midlands. As the Purchasing Manager, you will be pivotal in optimising procurement processes and strategies to enhance cost efficiency and supplier performance. You will work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute purchasing strategies that align with company goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
Negotiate contracts to achieve optimal terms for cost savings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless procurement processes.
Analyse market trends to forecast demand and mitigate risks.
Implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues promptly.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function. Your Experience:
Proven experience in purchasing or procurement management in a manufacturing environment.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
Familiarity with supply chain processes and inventory management.
A degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
