The Role Reporting to Total Rewards Lead, this role contributes to the development and improvement of compensation policies, programs, and solutions through research, market and trend analysis, industry best practices, and data analytics. You will ensure all programs align with business objectives and are effective in attracting, rewarding, and retaining talent. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: • Evaluate jobs within organization with a global view under the direction of the Total Rewards Lead. • Review and provide guidance in job descriptions as part of the job evaluation and leveling process. • Provide comprehensive analysis and recommendation for global market ranges. • Lead the participation in market compensation surveys with previous experience in both Mercer and Willis Towers Watson. • Work as a strategic partner with Human Resources and Business/Functional leaders, providing advice and consultation on compensation related matters in particularly in supporting recruitment activities. • Provide compensation data validation and process documentation support. • Participate in the company-wide annual compensation review. • Participate in HCM implementation project as required. In order to be successful in this role, you should have: • University degree (preferably in Human Resources or Business) with 7+ years of compensation experience preferred. • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred. • Strong technical expertise in North American compensation and executive compensation practices and global compensation experience preferred. • Experience with equity-based long term incentive plans preferred. • Strong computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, SAP Success Factors and Workday compensation modules. • Results focused with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate flexibility and ability to work collaboratively across all levels in the organization. • Industry knowledge and legislative awareness. • Excellent customer service, communications, and problem-solving skills. Additional Information Office based working environment, work from our Calgary office three or more days per week. Contract will be six months to one year.
