Assistive Technology Trainer sought to provide tailored training on software and hardware to university students and workplace professionals with disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized training plans for students and professionals with disabilities.
- Provide training sessions on assistive software and hardware.
- Maintain accurate training records.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and flexible working hours.
Requirements:
- Experience in teaching or training assistive technologies.
- Background in working with individuals with disabilities or specific learning differences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to troubleshoot and quickly learn new assistive technologies.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience working with students in higher education.
- Knowledge of specific learning difficulties like dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders.
Role Details:
- Probation period: 6 months.
- Working hours: 08:30-17:30, with possible overtime during peak times.
- Work environment: Hybrid (both in-person and remote).
