Job Requirements / Description

Assistive Technology Trainer sought to provide tailored training on software and hardware to university students and workplace professionals with disabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver individualized training plans for students and professionals with disabilities.
  • Provide training sessions on assistive software and hardware.
  • Maintain accurate training records.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and flexible working hours.

Requirements:

  • Experience in teaching or training assistive technologies.
  • Background in working with individuals with disabilities or specific learning differences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and quickly learn new assistive technologies.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students in higher education.
  • Knowledge of specific learning difficulties like dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders.

Role Details:

  • Probation period: 6 months.
  • Working hours: 08:30-17:30, with possible overtime during peak times.
  • Work environment: Hybrid (both in-person and remote).
