NXP automotive business unit is in charge of developing IC for the connected car, covering areas as diverse as in-vehicle networking, automotive lighting, car radio and audio, automotive power and radar. Our development teams oversee developing automotive transceiver ICs used in short to long range radar applications or infotainment applications, enabling use-cases for the vehicles of the future, dealing with high level ADAS and/or safety-critical audio functions. We are looking for a Functional Safety Architect to develop our ICs architectures for these 2 type of applications. Candidates with significant experience developing safety related work products are desired. Responsibilities Understanding all aspects of the technology, the architecture and the function of the product, to produce a safety concept and context,Perform IP, SoC, or System level safety analyses and safety work products in an ISO26262-related context,Participate in Safety Audits and Assessments (in explaining/preparing and/or replying to Auditors /Assessors questions).Support NXP Customers to use Safety work products developed by NXP Safety Team. Profile Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent,3-5 years of experience in Automotive Functional Safety,Good understanding of Hardware/Software development techniques following ISO26262 (or equivalent safety standard) development process,Hands-on experience in at least two safety-related product developments, including Technical Safety Concept definition and verification phases,Knowledgeable in Safety Analyses Techniques (FTA, DFA, FMEA, FMEDA, Reliability) and related tools (Medini as a +). #J-18808-Ljbffr
