Sales Office Manager

Cogent Staffing are recruiting on behalf of our client, leading in their industry, for a Sales Office Manager on a permanent basis to join them at a time of change and growth within the company. As the Sales Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the sales office, managing the sales team, and ensuring that sales targets are met. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing sales strategies to enhance business growth. Shift/salary: * Permanent role * Competitive salary depending on relevant experience * Monday to Friday, days * Quarterly performance related bonus * Modern offices and friendly team The role: * Manage and lead the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives. * Develop and implement effective sales strategies and processes. * Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. * Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction. * Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge. * Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. * Prepare sales reports and presentations for senior management. * Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of personnel across all sales and customer service teams, considering the seasonality trends of the business model. * Ensure comprehensive induction, training, and personal development plans for all departmental staff. * Monitor and manage personnel performance, HR processes, and overall wellbeing. * Work with the wider team to establish a positive, customer-centric, and collaborative culture across the group. The candidate: * Strong leadership and team management skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Proven experience in managing sales and customer service teams, preferably a contact centre environment within retail or home improvement sectors. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to drive sales and maximise commercial opportunities * Proficiency in managing and developing internal systems and processes * Strong leadership and people management ability * Growth mindset, can do attitude and willingness to deliver results to improve customer experiences and long term business performance.
