This position will consist of a variety of financial responsibilities with particular emphasis on accounts payable – processing expense reports, reconciling and recording of monthly Mastercard statements, coding and entering supplier invoices, filing GST/PST returns, and contributing to month-end processes. The successful candidate will also be trained in other financial areas and be expected to assist in these areas during peak times.REQUIREMENTSDisplay exceptional organizational ability and exhibit the utmost attention to detailMulti-task efficiently and effectively in a time-sensitive mannerPossess strong communication skills (both written and verbal)Work cooperatively in a team environmentProficient in Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite Package, including Word, Excel, and OutlookMinimum of five years of relevant accounting experience as well as a Diploma/Degree in AccountancyExperience in a law firm (Acumin legal software) is desirable but not requiredAny offer of employment may be conditional upon a full background check, including a criminal record check, a credit check, and employment and educational verification.
