Health & Safety Manager

Health & Safety Manager £55,000 - £75,000 plus package           Groundworks/Civil Engineering London & Surrounding regions Permanent I am looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional to join a specialist groundworks and civil engineering company. This role will be responsible for overseeing H&S across the business, leading the development and execution of strategic initiatives while maintaining a hands-on approach. As this is currently a standalone position, the ideal candidate will have experience in groundworks, civil engineering, or RC frames, and be comfortable working across multiple sites, balancing both strategic leadership and on-the-ground involvement The Role: Lead the development, and implementation of the H&S strategies, initiatives, and targets that ensure continual improvement Represent the business at meetings involving internal and external stakeholders Carrying out site inspections, audits, incident reports, and accident investigations when required. Review, update and improve internal training to continuously improve health & safety policies and procedures. Maintaining company accreditations across HSEQ Collect, review and report data across health & safety to identify trends and suggest business improvements. The Candidate: 5 years plus experience working in Health & Safety NEBOSH qualified, ideally to Diploma level Civil Engineering and groundworks experience is a must for the position Cert IOSH or working toward considered. Happy to work in a stand-alone position with travel across London to multiple sites
