In Toulouse, about 70 engineers are working on automotive radar domain for autonomous driving. In the RADAR Validation group, we are now looking for a validation architect to support the development of NXP’s next chip generation.Your responsibilitiesAs a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:Defining Validation Plan for all mmWave IPs of RADAR front-endDefining validation benches environment and measurements conditions (including test boards needs)Supporting creation of new measurements techniques and environmentsSupporting junior team members developmentSupporting project and customers for their platform development and use of our chipsTechnical leadership including hands-on validation executionYour profileMaster’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering10+ years’ experience in relevant industryProven RF Validation technical leadership competence as Validation lead or Validation ArchitectStrong background on high frequency measurements techniques and related parametersExperience in lab instrument automation would be a benefit.Capability to understand complex systems, easily hovering between detailed assessment and high-level overview.Fluent in English language both oral and written to work in an international environment with colleagues around the world.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writingOpen to new ideas and have a creative attitudeTaking initiative to spot and implement improvement.Strong problem-solving & analytical skillsNXP Semiconductors N.V.
