Grade 5 1.0 FTE Term assignment at George Greenaway Elementary School ending April 11, 2025 or return of incumbent (teacher who owns the position) not to exceed June 30, 2025. This position will earn the successful candidate a continuing contract with the district. George Greenaway has a diverse socio-economic and cultural population with a growing number of ELL learners. The school's focus areas include Social Emotional Learning and its impact on student ownership. Initiatives are on inquiry based learning, literacy, differentiated instruction, technology and its impact on student engagement. There is a collaborative culture and teamwork with staff. This school has an active athletics program and an involved PAC. Requirements: Bachelor of Education Valid BC Teaching Certificate Salary range is $59,711 to $109,520, with placement on the range based on length of service, FTE and qualifications in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
