Position Summary The Data Integration Specialist performs analysis of data managed by Mi-Case Offender Management System, as well as the Legacy system and creates the conversion process to extract, transform, and load the data from Legacy source to Mi-Case OMS system. He / She works closely with the system owners, subject matter experts, analysts, and developers, ensuring data conversion needs are captured and prioritized in DevOps.
Responsibilities Develop PL/SQL procedures to perform ETL functions
Work with the Business Analyst and gather data requirements
Work with the Client / Source system analysts and gather the source data and mapping details for the elements
Develop, Test, and Release data migration procedures
Manage and track the work in DevOps
Perform data migration audit, reconciliation, and exception reporting
Develop Mi-Case Reports using Telerik
Own the data migration activities for the assigned modules from start to finish
Assist in designing, planning and managing the data migration process
Educational/Training and Certification Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience in ODI - Oracle Data Integrator, and Telerik is preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Proven experience in Data acquisition, Cleansing, Migration, Integration, and Reconciliation from Legacy systems to AWS environment
Strong knowledge of Oracle database tools, PL/SQL, performance tuning, and data modeling
Knowledge of AWS RDS and related services with more than 5 years’ experience with Oracle in a lead role
Scripting skills for automation tasks
Understanding of data security principles and best practices
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Environmental and/or Physical Factors Long periods in front of a computer terminal.
Regularly required to sit, use hands, talk, and hear. Occasionally required to walk and reach.
Work hours are typically 8am to 5:00pm. However, working extended hours and weekends would be required occasionally to meet project release schedule.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000 per year
