SAP CAR / POSDTA Functional Consultant

We are partnered with a reputable global consultancy that are looking for SAP CAR / POSDTA Functional Consultants to work on a very exciting LONG-TERM CONTRACT in the retail sector. Role: SAP CAR / POSDTA Functional Consultant Rate: Up to £650 per day (inside IR35) Vacancies: 2 Location: Leeds, UK Style: Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite Duration: 6 months (initially – view to extend) THE ROLE: A large UK based retail supermarket chain is moving away from its technology partner to build its own Technology platform on cloud and continue its operations with minimal disruption to business. The transformation involves migrating 900+ applications supported on the existing cloud platform to the customer’s own cloud platform. This program offers the potential to work with blueprints of all the major SAP Retail processes and lead the process journey from the very beginning. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Hands no customising and configuring of SAP CAR / POSDTA Assisting with requirement gathering * Have excellent client facing skills * Planning, preparing and conducting Design Workshops * Liaise with other team members, both internal and external / 3rd parties * Develop functional specifications, review developments and enhancements required within SAP CAR * Able to work in a multi-cultural environment and experience in collaborating cross-teams. Perform configuration, support and testing activities in SAP CAR POS DM area * Create business process document and function specification * Perform configuration * Works closely with the client IT organization and client Process Owners to ensure system and process integrity of the Template and to drive adherence to the template - ensuring that only critical requirements are approved. * Perform RCA and Resolve defects * Support cutover, go live and post go-live activities KEY SKILLS: * SAP Consultant with minimum 10-15 years experience in SAP Retail with CAR POS DM Preferably with two or more full life implementations. * Experience and configuration knowledge in SAP CAR and POS Data analysis * Experience and responsibility for gathering requirements, configuring the system, testing, training and supporting the project go-live and maintenance * Ability to work independently and capable of planning his work and able to articulate it into definable tasks * Good verbal and written communication skills If you are interested and have the relevant experience, please apply promptly and we will contact you to discuss it further.
