The Executive Director will also collaborate with the divisional leadership team including Federal and Provincial partners and industry to deliver strong programs that will provide a full view of the animal health, welfare, assurance, and policy within Alberta.QualificationsYou bring extensive senior management experience with a diverse background in agriculture, animal health and welfare and demonstrated expertise in policy, program and legislation development. You have a proven ability to consult and negotiate solutions with diverse partners and stakeholders. Your strong political acumen and excellent communication skills enable you to facilitate collaborative partnerships to resolve sensitive and complex policy and scientific issues. You have experience managing financial and human resources with the ability to motivate, coach and mentor a team of professionals. Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills that support innovation and the ability to develop strategies that will address challenges and opportunities will be a key to your success. A bachelor’s degree in agriculture, animal science or animal health or similar education is preferred.Salary: $5,082.46 - $6,679.30 bi-weekly ($132,652.21 - $174,329.73 year)How to ApplyClick on the “Apply Now” button.
