The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food and beverages to our guests. Pay and Benefits
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $16.00 - $18.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes weekly pay, employee assistance program, training and development opportunities, employee discounts, and flexible work schedules. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food and beverages to order, following recipe guidelines and proper preparation techniques.
- Set up, operate, and clean kitchen equipment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Work cooperatively with team members and management to ensure seamless service.
- Follow opening and closing procedures to ensure a smooth operation.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work as a team player, following procedures and taking directions.
- Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs or more.
- Ability to stand for long periods while also bending, lifting, and reaching.
- Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders.
- Exposed to variable temperatures.
Shift Details
Event-based shifts, 8-10 hours per shift.
