Job Description:

Role Summary: As a Senior Oracle Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions for integrating on-premises and external cloud services interfaces into existing bank customer portals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automation solutions using leading technologies.
• Maintain the existing Oracle estate and Automation Services.
• Deliver robust solutions and provide excellent levels of service to the business and IT support needs.
• Apply DevOps principles to automate interfaces between systems.
• Design and code reusable APIs to build, manage and provide self-service functions.
• Design and integrate observability for all new and existing products.
• Creating and maintaining solution documentation.
• Problem solving issues that arise in day to day running of automated processes and providing timely responses and solutions as required.

Requirements:

• Experience and knowledge of OCI and specially Oracle Cloud @ Customer and Oracle Functions.
• Experience and knowledge of Core Oracle DBA skills with OEM, SQL and PL/SQL considered advantageous.
• Experience and knowledge of OEL / RHEL, RPMs, Shell Scripting, PHP, Ansible, JSON, YAML and Puppet.
• Experience and knowledge of virtualization i.e. VMware VMs, Vagrant, Virtual Box, Docker, Kubernetes.
• API Development experience with Python FASTAPI and tooling knowledge.
• End-to-end knowledge of build, package, automated testing, and deployment of CI/CD pipelines.
• Able to use Jira / GIT / Jenkins / Confluence / Nexus / Splunk / Kong with proficiency.
• Good understanding of secrets management via Hashi Vault, Jenkins credentials and Ansible Vault.
• Experience of DevOps and Agile operating principles.
• Ability to navigate security and risk expectations in a regulated banking environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams/regions/cultures, sharing and building collective knowledge.
