QA Test Automation Engineer

HTG seeks a QA Test Automation Engineer to join our team. If you're passionate about automated testing and thrive in a collaborative environment, we invite you to contribute your expertise to our pursuit of excellence.In this role, you will:Test Planning: Collaborate with the QA team to plan and design test automation strategies and approaches for various projects.Test Case Development: Develop automated test scripts and test cases based on project requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.Test Execution: Execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications across different platforms and environments.Defect Management: Identify, report, and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.Test Framework Development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks to support efficient and scalable test automation efforts.Test Environment Setup: Set up and configure test environments, including software, hardware, and network configurations, to facilitate automated testing.Performance Testing: Develop and execute performance test scripts to assess the performance and scalability of applications under different load conditions.Documentation: Document test procedures, test results, and automation scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage and facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.Required Skills and Experience:Strong English verbal and written communication skillsExperience with Clojure ScriptExperience with Ruby on HerokuExperience with SQL and MongoExperience with WindowsExperienced with test automation using SeleniumTest Automation FrameworkGood working knowledge of JenkinsComfortable at looking for ways to automate and optimize common tasksProfessional experience in software quality assuranceExperience with VMWare, Kubernetes, HelmKnowledge of the telecommunications industry, particularly telephony and networkingLooks for opportunities to improve test automation tooling and codeFamiliar with best practices for test automationSkilled in working with distributed systemsKnows the difference between a road block and a hurdleCan independently troubleshoot and investigate issues that ariseHigh Tech Genesis Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
