Black & McDonald Limited, a leading provider of multi-trade services, is seeking a highly motivated Billing Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate billing records for our diverse range of services.
Responsibilities:
Process invoices for a variety of services offered by electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, and other tradespeople.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all billing information, including service descriptions, labor hours, material costs, and tax calculations.
Review and reconcile customer accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding invoices, payments, and any billing inquiries.
Maintain detailed billing records in our accounting software.
Prepare reports on billing activity and key metrics.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Coordinate with cross-functional departments to resolve billing issues and ensure accurate billing practices.
Ensure compliance with company billing policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience in a billing or accounts receivable role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and billing procedures.
Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Experience and/or knowledge of ERP system preferred.
