YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE: Reporting to the Director, you will be part of the Procurement Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment. Define and implement best in class practices as it relates to all aspects of inventory management; Provide reports and analysis to meet operational requirements and to enable strategic initiatives by providing visibility; Inventory optimization by balancing investment in inventory versus inventory performance; Accountable to implement the inventory standard for all Ontario and Quebec Operations; Support implementation of the inventory standard across other AEM operations as directed; Drive inventory optimization across the operations by working closely with mine and regional management to ensure that the operations have the appropriate levels of inventory to support their operations; Accountable for min/max reorder points that meet established service levels; Accountable to minimize and action slow moving inventory; Accountable to establish and meet inventory turnover targets; Ensure that all inventory forms are signed and completed according to the procedures; Owner of inventory controls and support internal and external audits; Assist team as required in change management initiatives. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Business or Supply Chain Diploma, and/or appropriate work experience; Experience in an industrial setting or heavy industry (mining experience is an asset); Must have strong interpersonal, communication and team-building skills; Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint. Your Work Schedule: Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Based in Timmins, Kirkland Lake, Rouyn-Noranda, Val-d’Or, Toronto, Montreal, North Bay, or Sudbury) with travel to Site(s) as required.
