About PasqalPASQAL designs and develops Quantum Processing Units (QPUs) and associated software tools.Our innovative technology enables us to address use cases that are currently beyond the reach of the most powerful supercomputers; these cases can concern industrial application challenges as well as fundamental science needs.In addition to the exceptional computing power they provide, QPUs are highly energy efficient and will contribute to a significant reduction in the carbon footprint of the HPC industry.Job DescriptionMain activities:Contribute to new feature development.Clarify needs with system engineers.Develop feature, including unit tests.Implement hardware test bench and simulators, when relevant.Develop automated tests, document and run manual tests.Fix issues encountered during tests to end in fully functional feature.Update existing or create new documents to reflect implemented feature.Participate in doc and code review process for own and peers' tasks.Investigate issues raised on QPU then propose and implement solution.About youTechnical skillset required:Strong experience in Python, development practices (coding standards, testing, review...), and tools (git, pytest).Experience on Hardware and Software interfaces, protocols (ethernet, usb, socket, visa, rpc...).Knowledge of Linux, database (PostgreSQL, InfluxDB), Gitlab, docker.English: written and spoken.Transverse skillset required:Communication skills, organisation skills, team spirit, motivation.Ability to understand complex systems to propose and implement effective solutions.What we offerBeautiful brand new offices in Massy, France.A flexible rhythm of remote work (1 to 2 days a week).Type of contract: CDI.A dynamic and close-knit international team.A key role in a growing start-up.Free time to train and go to conferences/meetups.Recruitment processAn interview with our Talent Acquisition Specialist of 30 minutes.An exchange with Thomas, Engineering Manager of 45 minutes.A technical assessment of your skills.A meeting with the team in our beautiful offices.An offer!PASQAL is an equal opportunity employer.
