Every day, we give people the opportunity to experience amazing travel! About The Opportunity The FCM Extension team is looking for a Lead Platform Engineer in Canada. As a Lead full-stack developer, you will work as part of our engineering team to drive a major re-factoring/re-architecting effort, as well as design, architect, and implement new features. You will be expected to take on some leadership, mentoring, and planning duties. This is a full-time hire with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities Integrate with backend services depending on clients’ needs (SSO, 3rd-party APIs, etc.) Evolve our DB schema to support new use cases. Research technologies and frameworks for the existing application. Keep up-to-date with the latest technical trends, including AI models & capabilities. Experience & Qualifications At least 8-10+ years web development experience Proficient in at least one additional back-end programming language. Experience with high-volume, high-availability systems. Familiarity with Git and feature-branch workflow. Recent and relevant code samples from your GitHub account must be provided. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $116,000 - $140,000. Base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
