About the Role
Amazon Business EU SARL, succursale française - P93 is seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Engineer to join our team in Luxembourg, Milan, Munich, or London. As a key member of our EU Sustainability Engineering team, you will play a critical role in scaling our programs and driving innovation in electrical systems and smart grid solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Align and set stakeholders' expectations for the installation of AMZL Electrical Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and/or smart grid.
- Develop and manage vendors to ensure installation capacity, quality of commissioning, and smooth interaction onsite with other teams.
- Perform design validation to ensure electrical standards are respected during installation of electrical equipment.
- Act as subject matter expert and support Field Engineering to prepare supplychain for execution of installation onsite.
- Write business cases and present them to leadership to scope programs.
About the Team
Our EU Sustainability Engineering team is responsible for defining and continuously improving electrical standards for EV charging networks and smart grid solutions. We ensure reliability of design and obsess over costs, as we believe waste of resources is one of the major risks for Sustainability actions.
What You'll Do
You will work closely with partners from Operations, Process Improvement, Health and Safety, Ergonomics, Finance, Procurement, and external vendors to design and deploy new equipment and processes for AMZL, ATS, and CF. You will also engage with all levels of the organization and multiple stakeholder groups to drive short, mid, and long-term decisions that impact the Amazon transportation network.
Travel Opportunities
This role offers the opportunity to travel and work in multiple EU countries and cultures, with up to 25% of time spent traveling domestically within the country or to other EMEA countries.
