Senior Data Scientist - Manchester - Hybrid - £80k Great opportunity for a highly experienced senior data scientist to join an expanding data team, giving you the keys to develop the data science side of their already successful data team! There will be a heavy focus on machine learning, ML engineering and predictive modelling, if this sounds like you, you could soon find yourself leading a team of data scientists! Salary and Bonuses Competitive salary of £80k + bonuses Flexible hybrid balance - work 2 days in the office and the rest from home Choose the days you come into the office based off your personal needs and work life balance requirements 30 days annual holiday, rising to 35 days based off time served in the company Free on site gym, hair cuts and "social rooms" with entertainment What do I need to apply SQL: Advanced SQL use of Functions for Analytics, Recursive CTE Python: Data set manipulations Machine Learning: TF-IDF and linear Regression techniques ML Engineering/Data Engineering background: ML Engineering will be a big part of this role SQL Server: Some DBA knowledge would be useful in this role Statistical Methods: Understanding of statistical tests, distributions, and maximum likelihood estimators.
