A person committed to achieving high quality results in a team environment.The position is for an ASIC Digital Design Project Engineering Manager. The mandate is to manage the digital component of a Mixed-Signal semiconductor Intellectual Property (MSIP) from concept to customer delivery.Key Responsibilities:Manages the development and implementation process of internal engineering products and services involving cross-functional design teams.Identifies needed resources to achieve timely deliverables; identifies and escalates issuesDrives problem resolution through fact-based judgmentManages risk and change from conception to deliveryDefines, promotes, implements and improves team and cross-functional engineering processes and practicesRequirements:MSEE or BSEE (or equivalent) degree plus a minimum of 5 years of digital design and verification experience in the industryPossess a full understanding of integrated circuit design and design verificationFamiliarity with the development process for ASIC designs and knowledge of digital design methodologies, ATE production testing, DFT insertion, Synthesis constraints and flowsScripting experience in Shell, Perl, Python or TCL is a plusGood communication skills for interaction between different design groups and customer support teamsCustomarily exercises autonomous judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutionsKnowledge of and/or experience in adhering to quality management system processes and proceduresAbility to navigate, manipulate files and use tools in a Linux environment
