Our client is a leading property development and construction group delivering residential, student, retail and commercial accommodation projects across the north west. They are recruiting for a Head of Commercial to oversee a large high rise D&B project in the city centre. Duties and responsibilities to include: Take a proactive approach in managing projects and tenders, overseeing their progress and ensuring adherence to financial and contractual requirements. Provide commercial assistance, surveying knowledge, and contractual expertise to the company, contributing to the growth and development of the commercial department. Maintain a vigilant overseeing role in relation to the operations teams, ensuring efficient delivery performance both financially and contractually. Develop and nurture subcontractor relationships, fostering a collaborative environment and optimising project outcomes. Implement and manage financial control systems Monitor and resolve financial and contractual matters arising on a project.
