About Our Client: This innovative Technology based company located in GTA West, is looking for a Vice President of Engineering (Hybrid). The successful candidate will lead the engineering team, responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining their products while setting the technical vision, leading development efforts, and driving innovation. Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the engineering team, setting a high standard for technical excellence and innovation. Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end development process, from ideation to product launch, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and secure solutions. Team Management: Build and lead a highly skilled engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Technology Strategy: Define and execute the technical roadmap, aligning it with business objectives and industry trends. Security Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging technologies to guide the development of robust security products. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing, to ensure product alignment with market demands and customer needs. Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous testing and quality assurance processes to guarantee the reliability and effectiveness of our solutions. Compliance: Ensure that our products meet industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements. Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation, research, and development to stay ahead in the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape. Requirements: Proven experience in a leadership role within a cybersecurity or related technology company. Startup Experience is a must. Strong technical background in cybersecurity and a comprehensive understanding of security principles. Track record of successfully leading and scaling engineering teams. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with a proactive and forward-looking mindset.
