Art Teacher - Maternity Cover

We are seeking an Art Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school on a long-term maternity cover basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and nurture students' creativity across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will deliver engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages artistic expression and personal development. Key Responsibilities: Teach Art to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, following the national curriculum. Plan and deliver innovative and creative lessons to inspire a love of art. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback. Encourage students to explore various artistic techniques and mediums. Contribute to the wider school community, including exhibitions and school events. Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. We are looking for a dedicated Art Teacher with: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification. Experience teaching Art at the secondary level (KS3/KS4). A passion for fostering creativity and a deep understanding of various art forms. Excellent communication and organizational skills. A commitment to student success and well-being.
