POSITION DETAILS POSITION TITLE:Branch Sales ManagerLOCATION/BRANCH:REPORTS TO:Area Sales Manager DIRECT REPORTS:Recruitment Consultants, Client Relationship Managers and Support StaffPOSITION PURPOSEThe Branch Sales Manager is responsible and accountable for ensuring net revenue growth and standard profit performance by developing and implementing sales, service, and financial strategies. They ensure the uniformity of procedures, policies, and systems affecting their operations.CORE JOB ACTIVITIESMarketing/Sales Implementing approved annual forecasts and marketing plans along with capital expenditure requests. Ensuring fee structures and standard net margins are adhered to. Setting up and assigning territories to Sales and Consulting Staff in accordance with Standard Policy guidelines. Approving and developing the principles whereby client accounts are assigned.Maintaining an adequate public relations image with clients, the public, and government agencies. Setting and adhering to budgets and monitoring recruitment advertising. Reviewing competitive pricing no less than semi-annually. Analyzing and interpreting sales analysis and implementing corrective action on areas not meeting corporate strategies and standards.Service/Operational Enforcing Corporate Polices and upholding the reputation and standards of the Company.Safeguarding and maximizing the use of Company assets and ensuring the security of all Company records and information. Ensuring adherence to all local laws and maintaining up-to-date business licenses for reporting and service lines.Ensuring that client companies are provided with professional and timely service and each operation is issued with up-to-date standard operating procedures and training manuals. Regularly conducting comprehensive service, sales, and operational audits and implementing corrective action when required. Ensuring that client, candidate, and employee complaints are actioned within 24 hours. Ensuring each branch member is effectively producing the budgeted objectives for their position and is achieving the Company standards of performance. Implementing quality control procedures and a quality accreditation program.Providing client companies with ongoing support and information relating to Industrial Awards, the effective use of flexible staffing, and workforce measurement techniques. Management Taking immediate action to effectively resolve interdepartmental conflict.Ensuring adherence to employment legislation. Issuing each employee with up-to-date SOP and training manuals. Encouraging the generation and continuation of a healthy corporate climate and high morale. Hiring, training, coaching, and developing staff along with the termination of staff when necessary. Undertaking performance appraisals, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions. Finance/Reporting Responsible for the profitability and financial planning of the branch, ensuring that projections and budgetary calculations are accurate, attainable, and within budget policy guidelines. Ensuring standard DFR for all reporting branches. Breaking down the budget to operating proportions and communicating to staff. Assisting the General Manager in interpreting budget guidelines, suggested ratios, and percentages. Quality, Compliance & OHS Delivering OH&S training including manual handling awareness and emergency evacuation procedures to on-hired workers and existing staff. Overseeing Site Inspection procedures and policies including the identification of hazards, evaluation of risks, and the designing and implementing of hazard control measures. Maintaining sound knowledge of current provincial and federal legislation, standards, policies, and guidelines and ensuring that work activities comply.Ensuring accurate and timely OH&S reporting as directed. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Minimum 5 years’ Business-to-Business sales experience. Minimum 3 years’ management experience in a medium sized company.Proven success record of achieving revenue and profit objectives. Proven success in strategic and budgetary planning.Knowledge of and commitment to total quality management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficient computer literacy in Microsoft programs. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in a related field in lieu of experience (Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management, Communications, etc.)INDMonctonFlex
