Technical Lead

An established boutique architecture firm in the core of Toronto is looking to add someone to their team who will be the go-to person when it comes to architectural technology, building details, construction documents, and the effective use of Revit for all projects in the office. This office prioritizes sustainable design, and utilizes a combination of Passive House, Net0, LEED, and other theories in order to accomplish the design and construction of high-performance buildings. The office has a mixed portfolio between high-end custom homes and mid-scale boutique commercial work. This person will work with the rest of the team (under 10 people) to ensure that the quality production of construction documents. You will be responsible for: Both contributing to project work, but more importantly reviewing the work of others and supporting the team members in the production of quality CDs Mentoring staff on building technology, constructibility, and best practices when producing technical documents Ensuring that the programs and tools used in the office are maintained and being used effectively (detail libraries, models, use of other software) Support all projects and the staff on the projects during CA phases Required Qualifications: 5+ years experience in producing full working drawing sets for Custom Residences in Ontario Revit fluency 100% required Past experience reviewing CD sets produced by others Past experience coordinating with other disciplines and the contractor during CA phases #J-18808-Ljbffr
