Cnc Setter

Reputable sub-contract machining company are looking for CNC Setter/Operator to join their long-established team in Redditch. Offered as a permanent contract, with competitive pay rate based on experience. Your role as CNC Setter/Operator will be to set and operate Haas, Doosan and Mazak controlled machines while maintaining the section with offsets and tooling. Previous CNC experience is essential to fulfil the position of CNC Setter/Operator. Within this role you will be offered overtime, free car parking and company pension. Duties and responsibilities of CNC Setter/Operator * Set and Operate CNC Vertical Haas, Doosan and Mazak machines with Siemens controls * Focus on production of high-quality components * Maintain the section with offsets and tooling * Leaving work area/machines in good condition at the end of shift in terms of material tooling * Ability to leave machines running safely to support next operator starting at 6:45am * Occasional simple repeat change overs * Using measuring gauges * To produce components within the agreed standard time * Ability to read and interpret drawings * Working to tight tolerances and in process measurements * High precision tolerance works as well as volume * Quality control, working to customer specification Skills/attributes required by successful candidate for the role of CNC Setter/Operator * Previous experience of CNC Setting * Haas and Doosan control experience - essential * Attention to detail * Be an effective communicator * Team player, with pride in one’s work and a desire for success * Be adaptable and willing to go the extra mile to meet tight deadlines Location: Redditch Hours of Work: 20:00 – 06:00 Monday – Thursday (Overtime available Friday) Salary: £14 per hour basic + 20% Night Shift Allowance (£16.80) Benefits: Workplace pension scheme, free onsite parking If you have the skills to fulfil the role of CNC Sliding Head Setter, please APPLY TODAY
