IP Optometrist (12 month FTC)

IP Optometrist (12 month FTC) – 3-4 days p/w (Mon-Thurs) – Up to £70,000 DoE (FTE) – York An exciting new opportunity has arisen in a leading York Eye Hospital, for an experienced IP qualified Optometrist to join their highly skilled and supportive team. Role Responsibilities: * Carrying out examinations that are associated with refractive, cataract, glaucoma and retinal surgeries * The running of acute and follow up clinics post-surgery * Providing health advice and supporting patients * Providing clinical advice to patients and following the appropriate means of referral to a medical practitioner if this is necessary Qualifications / Skills: * Fully qualified optometrist with current GOC registration * IP qualification with a keen interest in YAG * Extensive experience in a refractive, high street or hospital environment * Administration systems and electronic medical record systems experience * Confident and driven to working towards conversion targets and other KPIs within Vision Correction If you are interested in this vacancy, please contact Siobhan Dyson at Servisource Healthcare to apply on (phone number removed)
