Their experienced team combines technical expertise with a client-centric approach to achieve outstanding results.  The Role We are seeking an experienced Project Manager, preferably Chartered, with experience in the Custodial, Defence, or Education sectors. The successful candidate will have the confidence and ability to lead projects from inception through feasibility study, tendering, on-site management, handover, and post-completion phases. While working independently, support will be provided by a junior project manager on larger projects, with overall guidance from the PM Team Leader and office Partners (also PMs). This role involves working on several Project Management frameworks for universities and local authorities. A significant part of the role includes providing services under a Delivery Partner appointment with the Ministry of Justice. This client-side project leader role involves monitoring multiple projects. Duties include preparing the project brief and appointment documents in liaison with key stakeholders, monitoring consultant fees, managing project risks, preparing and updating project programmes, and reporting to senior management. Additionally, the role includes compiling and presenting Business Cases to Boards and implementing the Government Soft Landings approach to Handover along with BREEAM assessments on all government-funded schemes. Typical projects range from £1M to £10M, with involvement in delivering programmes of capital works under the client-side role, with individual project values up to £130M. Training in MS Project and specific client consultant appointments and reporting mechanisms will be provided. However, the successful candidate is expected to have an understanding of detailed project programming, managing external consultants, and project reporting to senior client directors. Experience in client-side working is advantageous. Note: The selected candidate will be required to undergo DBS and Enhanced Security checks and meet the criteria set by our Government and Education Sector clients regarding previous criminal convictions.
