Power Market Development Engineer - Rungis or Lyon

Description WHAT WILL YOU DO: The role is a mix of engineering (40%) and sales abilities (60%). Knowledge of AC/DC, DC/DC, and inverter power supplies, and complete value add solutions from our portfolio of world-class power supply manufacturer partners and from our own engineering resource. Grow the region's power supply bookings, billings, profit, and design wins in line with the monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. Work collaboratively with our field-based FAE sales teams and account managers to maximize the number of opportunities entering the power sales funnel, increasing the possible number of opportunities to close. Uncover and extract our existing customer base power needs and convert them into bookings and to also identify new customers in our focus markets and applications, in line with our strategy. WHO YOU ARE: At least 5 years of experience in a role combining engineering and sales activities in the power industry (e.g., Market Development Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Field Application Engineer). Ability to create strong relations with clients and manage their expectations. The expectation is to be with customers 3-4 days per week. Strong presentation and communication skills are required to be successful in this role. University degree in a technical field, preferred in electronic engineering. English at least at B2 level is required to be successful in this role. Knowledge of the French language is necessary. Driving license.
