Interim Senior Operations Finance Business Partner – Hull – £65,000 - £72,000  

A great opportunity has arisen within an ever-growing FMCG business in Hull for an Interim Operational Senior Finance Business Partner for a newly created role due to growth, for an initial 3-6 month contract. Interim Operational Senior Finance Business Partner Responsibilities:

• Finance business partner to the Operations/Supply Chain Directors taking lead on financial matters and ensuring delivery of business and operational objectives
• Preparation of weekly flash and monthly operational accounts and supporting KPI’s
• Working with Operational Managers to challenge variance analysis and drive efficiencies
• Lead planning and forecasting operational processes
• Education of operational teams at all levels, demonstrating cost levers, the contribution to financial performance, driving understanding of consequences to decision-making.
• Drive improvements to total supply chain/operational performance and procedures, through identification and timely reporting
• Responsibility for tracking in year savings for all improvement initiatives and capital proposals
• Ad hoc, proactive investigation, reports, capital proposals and financial propositions relevant to business/ function strategy and performance
• Manage small operational finance team

Required Skills & Experience:

• Ideally CIMA/ACCA Qualified (or QBE)
• Strong manufacturing and operational reporting experience
• Proven ability to build relationships cross functionally
• Continuous improvement mentality and ability to drive change
• IT Literate including excel and ERP systems
