Call Centre Representative

Our Customer is looking to Hire for their explosive growth in their Direct to Consumer Channel. They are investing in training new hires to be licensed professionals, able to sell Insurance Products to their Customers. This role is a professional licensed to sell personal insurance directly to consumers nationally and to service all their insurance related needs.The hours of operation for the Direct Channel Department are Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will be required to work five 7.5 hour shifts per week/37.5 hours per week within these hours of operation, and will rotate through these hours.Our Customer has adopted a hybrid return-to-office model. This role will require you to work in the Markham office location 2 - 3 days per week, with the remainder of the time at home office.Responsibilities:Understanding customer insurance needs and providing insurance solutionsQuote and Sell Insurance Home and Auto policiesAssist new customers with their Home and Auto insurance needsService existing customers by updating their policies no meet their changing needs and provide new products as requiredDrive strong customer retention by providing a world class customer experienceUnderwrite new business, policy endorsements and renewals by obtaining all necessary information from the customer relevant to pricing and risk analysisStay up to date on underwriting and regulatory guidelinesRequirements:College Diploma or University DegreeSales and customer service experience is idealExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCustomer focused and ability to match products to customers needsGood problem solving skillsAbility to self-manage and prioritize workStrong computer skills with ability to learn new software applicationsThis role pays a Base Salary starting at $50,000, Up to 10% annual bonus, 4 weeks vacation annually (pro-rated to start date), pension, RSP program, flexible benefits, and able to participate in discounted products & wellness programs.Demand For HR is an equal opportunity Recruiting Firm.
