Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector Location: Gateshead Salary: £20.75 per hour Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Sector: Engineering & ManufacturingWe are currently looking for a Quality Inspector to join our clients team at a leading equipment manufacturer. This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of quality that we are known for in the industry. To be considered in this position you MUST have previously worked in a quality role and be happy to work shift patterns, including nights. Day to Day of the role: Programming the CMMs. Conducting visual / dimensional inspections using measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers etc. Review and verify internal reports confidently. Reading engineering drawings. Competently use Microsoft Office packages including Excel and Word. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in programming CMMs ideally with MCOSMOS software. Experience in visual and dimensional inspection using manual measuring equipment. Strong experience working to customer specifications. Ability to review and verify internal reports. Strong mathematical skills and understanding of engineering drawings. Benefits: Competitive hourly rate of up to £20.75. Enhanced employer pension contributions.
