Electrical Maintenance Engineer

2BM Recruitment Ltd have been engaged by a leading worldwide steel manufacturer and heavy engineering client to recruit for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Electrical Bias for their Sheffield based site on a permanent contract. A career opportunity within an excellent organisation with a reputation for product quality and service that has a culture of valuing their staff. * Salary circa £53,900.00 per annum (higher earning potential depending on bonus) plus premium overtime rates * Shifts – 4 on 4 off 12 hour rotating Days and nights. * Quarterly bonus * Excellent pension scheme between * Westfield Health * Working for a global heavy engineering company that can offer stability As the Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and work as a key member of the electrical maintenance team, ensuring all requirements of reactive and planned maintenance is met. Duties include: * Ensuring PPMs throughout the heavy engineering plant are maintained to a high standard to maximise availability, reliability, and efficiency and to ensure the health & safety of all colleagues. * Prompt response and resolutions to electrical breakdowns. * Fault finding on PLCs and electrical installation work as required in accordance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations 18th Edition. * Record all maintenance activity on the system and identify and source spares and equipment in a timely manner to reduce production down times. * Coach, support and assist with the training of apprentices. As an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer, you will be qualified to HNC / City & Guilds / NVQ / Apprentice trained or equivalent, within manufacturing maintenance.
