Junior Structural Engineer (EIT)

Art Engineering Inc. (AEI) is currently seeking a Junior Structural Engineer to join our growing team in North Bay, Ontario. The successful candidate will fulfill the role of an Junior Engineer and EIT, working closely with Senior Structural Engineers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete structural analyses, calculations, and designs for a variety of projects
• Prepare structural drawings and technical reports for projects under the guidance of experienced engineers
• Conduct site inspections and field reviews
• Communicate directly with clients and contractors

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering
• Moderate level of proficiency in AutoCAD
• Moderate to High level of proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
• Good analytical and critical thinking skills
• Valid ‘G’ driver’s license and access to personal vehicle for travel to project sites

Additional Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering
• Relevant experience in engineering and/or construction in Ontario
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant local standards and codes (OBC, NBCC, MTO Manuals, etc.)
